As we have entered the second half of this quite difficult year for our industry, we keep going forward with discipline and perseverance.

Taking this approach it will be keeping us very busy in the 2nd half of 2015.

We have delivered 6 pcs. high pressure ball valves, 3”x2” CL. 2500, Side-entry design, Reduced Bore, Hub ends. Body in SS, Trim: Duplex, Peek Insert, Lip Seals, High Pressure Gas Test c/w pneumatic actuator for Exxonmobil – EPC SapuraKencana, for the Tapis C Platform, offshore Malaysia.

We have been awarded a new order for subsea in Malaysia by SapuraKencana HL for Petronas Carigali for the Layang Development HIP Project.

Water depth is 97m.

We have started earlier this year production for the API 6A ball and gate valve product line which are used upstream mainly for manifolds / flowlines, wellheads and Christmas trees.  

Currently we have a number of major orders under manufacture for various customers and it does look very promising that this new product range will do very well for us.

Sizes range from 1” 13/16 to 9” and pressure classes from API 2,000 (138 barg) to API 15,000 (1,035 barg) in top-entry and side-entry ball valve design as well as through-conduit gate valve design. We also offer the subsea line in API 17D, as well as the twin ball valve design.

We have now launched our new catalogue for API 6A ball and gate valves which includes all technical features of these products.

We are pleased to introduce to you our new sales manager for Malaysia, Mr. Fahizal Ghazali.

Fahizal has more than 20 years experience in the oil and gas industry in Malaysia, having worked as a Senior Sales and Service Engineer as well as managed upstream and downstream clients in East Malaysia.

At MIR VALVE, Fahizal is responsible for the Malaysian market, which is our domestic market and represents 50% of our annual turnover.

He manages all key accounts from Petronas as well as Shell, ExxonMobil, Talisman, Murphy Oil and other major operators and EPC’s in the territory.

Fahizal Ghazali reports to our VP of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Steve Ryan.
