HYDROGEN APPLICATIONS

Like all other valve manufacturers, we are gearing up to be ready to meet the hydrogen applications that will become a big part of our portfolio.
We will be working closely with the various qualified seal manufacturers and plan through 2022-2023 to carry out additional qualification testing programs.

Hydrogen is a very challenging process and requires preparation on our side to ensure the products meet and exceed the challenging and demanding requirements of this application.

15 MIR YEARS: HIGH PRESSURE GATE VALVES IN FULL SOLID SUPERDUPLEX

From our 15-year milestones, our first major order for Through-Conduit Gate Valves came in 2015. And what an order!
High-pressure gate valves 16" CL. 2500 in full solid superduplex, metal-seated, TAT tested. 18 weeks delivery.
The delivery was critical as the MIR gate valves were required by the customer to replace existing new gate valves from a different brand which were installed and failed badly during Offshore Commissioning / Start-Up Operations to the point they had to be fully replaced.
The MIR gate valves have been installed and in operation on this gas platform since 2018 and working well since then; our customer remains satisfied.

MIR ball valves are suitable for all Regasification processes (converting LNG back into Gas) from Shipping to Storage and Unloading to Vaporization, Boil Off Gas and Gas Metering

Abu Dhabi, UAE is our key market in the Middle East and one of our historical markets, where we have a track record of over 14 years.

We are an approved manufacturer with ADNOC Group of companies for 13 product groups of ball and gate valves from Pipeline to HIPPS, to MOV, On/Off, Process and Piping, Pipeline applications and others. 

Since 2009, we have delivered over 2,300 ball valves in Abu Dhabi in 20 projects greenfield and brownfield in onshore installations and have currently under manufacture over 600 pcs MOV & Manual Ball and Twin Ball valves (DBB) for ADNOC Offshore.

We have set our yearly OHS objectives for the entire company as well as specific for each department from Manufacturing to Engineering, to Quality & HSE and Corporate Services. We have ZERO fatalities and ZERO major accidents since the establishment of our company.
MIR VALVE has been compliant to ISO 18001 since its establishment and has been ISO 18001 certified for over 9 years.

ENGINEERED PRODUCT RANGE ON /OFF BALL, GATE, SWING CHECK VALVES

Fadlysham is the Design Engineering Manager, leading the Engineering Design team in designing all of our products, using SOLIDWORKS, FEA, PDM and AUTOCAD all generated through our ERP system, IFS.


Together with his team, they review and complete the design calculations for materials to determine suitability, pressure envelope, wall thickness, drive train, torsion loads, as per ASME VIII, B16.34, MESC, and other specifications and standards.


From the 3D Model, they then produce all of the manufacturing drawings and related customer technical documents required for each respective project.
Fadlysham on behalf of the Engineering Department is the final authority to sign off to dispose of any non-conformances raised through our quality system for the materials and components during production that do not meet our manufacturing drawings.


His experience now exceeds over 24,000 ball, gate and swing check valves for projects worldwide in applications from subsea to cryogenic, high temperature flushing dirty service manufactured in our Shah Alam plant.


Fadlysham has a Master Degree in Engineering Management from University Technology MARA, Malaysia and a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Technology Malaysia. With his engineering background, he has more than 20 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry in Malaysia and now has a solid 13 years in MIR VALVE in our Engineering Department
