HELLO TECHNIP | ||||||
2015 has already brought us a new customer, the French giant, Technip. Our first order came from Technip, Malaysia and is a highly engineered subsea ball valve design:
MV3-SS Subsea Ball Valve 10” CL. 900 RTJ c/w Gear + ROV CL. 2 Body F65 + Inconel Overlay / Trim: Inconel, Peek Insert Gas testing/ PR2 Class1 qualification testing & hyperbaric chamber testing 100 m water depth Customer: Petronas Carigali, Malaysia, Kanowit Project
In conjunction with this order, Technip have also completed a subsea audit at our plant, which we have successfully passed.

SAFETY INTEGRITY LEVEL | ||||||
We are now pursuing the SIL Level 3 Certification according to IEC 61508:2010 and for this we have appointed TUV Rheinland Italy. This will cover all our three ball valve types: top-entry, side-entry bolted body and fully welded.
The product design will be analyzed in accordance with recommended FMEDA procedures and shall be determined to be suitable for use in a SIS (Safety Integrity System) up to a certain SIL level (Safety Integrity Level).
SIL certification is particularly required in critical applications such as HIPPS or Emergency Shutdown Valves.
We expect to complete this exercise by May 2015.
