Tony Church is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Gloucester University, UK, with over 30 years experience in manufacturing. As our Senior Manager Plant Manufacturing, he plans, manages and oversees all manufacturing related activities, so that the budgeted output requirements are met while operating targets of monthly shipments, cost reduction, quality, on-time delivery and HSE are achieved. He ensures high technical competency standards on assembly and testing activities and manages all process areas in the plant through supervisors. He executes production plans and work schedules and recommends improvements in current manufacturing processes. 

 

Prior to MIR VALVE, he was the VP Global Operations with Emerson Valve Automation Division and was responsible for global manufacturing and procurement, provided plans and strategies in achieving and implementing cost reduction and manufacturing plant targets. He was also involved in opening new sites in strategic geographical areas, consolidation of existing manufacturing operations and global sourcing of flow cost manufactured products and services. Prior to that he was an Operation Manager with Extremach and was responsible for manufacturing, planning, procurement, financial reporting and budgets. He has also served as Tools Design and Manufacture Engineer with Dowty Mining UK, whereby he designed and implemented modular fixturing concept to reduce time during machine set-ups and save costs and approve first run of equipments and tooling for release to manufacturing.
